New Contest

Between a parade of listing appointments, showings, negotiations and home inspections, carving out time to rest is easier said than done. As real estate’s busiest time of year marches on, we want to know:

How are you unwinding this summer?

Whether you plan to jet off on an excursion, take a breather from technology or schedule a self-imposed staycation, follow RISMedia on Facebook and comment on our contest post with your plans for downtime this summer. To double your chances of winning, follow RISMedia’s Housecall on Twitter and tweet #RISReaderRewards with your response. One lucky reader will win $100!

All participants will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa or American Express gift card. Entries will be accepted from Monday, July 20, 2015 to Friday, July 24, 2015. The winner will be selected at random and notified following July 24, 2015.

Recovering from both my daughter’s wedding June 26th and many closings from May thru July, I am sneaking away in August to Laughlin, Nevada with my 75 yr. old mom for a 4 day getaway. I’m also buying a new bicycle so I can enjoy riding the trails & get some fresh air & exercise.

I’m remodeling our family room that I have put off for sometime.
Just spending a few hours each morning coordinating the job. It makes me feell as I’m on vacation, but Arrrrg, don’t know if that qualifies as a “staycation”. Ha ha

Packing the car for an escape to Ocean City with my two daughters and three grandkids, 7,4 and 1. I doubt it will be restful, but oh it will be fun!
