If donning a panda suit to help sell your latest listing has never crossed your mind, you’re probably not alone (but you may want to rethink your strategy. Maybe?).
For Jessica Arnett—co-owner of Villa Real Estate in The Woodlands, Texas—the decision to dress up as a panda and be photographed for a series of listing photos has created widespread panda-monium throughout the real estate industry…and beyond.
While the unique, attention-drawing tactic has been used before (in Canada, no less), Arnett stepped up to the plate in a big way, casting her reservations aside and getting right down to business.
“I take real estate seriously, but we had this home listed for three weeks and had only two showings,” Arnett told the Houston Chronicle.
Since the photos have made their way around the web, interest in the home has ramped up. Not only have several showings been scheduled, Arnett has received “tons of calls about it” from fellow real estate professionals who commend her for going above and beyond to appease her sellers.
Listed at $199,900, the four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom single-family home offers plenty of room for any budding family (no matter the species).
