To say that we live in a society driven by information is an understatement. Content and its dissemination have truly morphed into the lifeblood of our culture. Everyone is seemingly starved for content that may affect their professions, personal lives, health, happiness, and more. With all of the social media channels, blogs and websites available to us, RISMedia wants to know: How do you reach consumers?
Please answer a few brief questions below to share your thoughts and strategies for content generation in real estate. Responses collected will be used for future RISMedia coverage, and shared on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you!
I have tried several different types of advertising to acquire more buyers and sellers and so far none of them have worked very well
My best source is referals from past clients
You will find a way to bury this opinion. I use ZERO social media and my business is as good or better than most in my office. I would suggest that one get their face out of their phones, computers etc. and get out (anywhere ) and actually talk and be a part of your community and your results will just pile up ! Amazing huh. ?

Better sources to give you information on what works and what doesn’t is needed.
I started with a virtual assistant and then my daughter joined me.
She is quite good with marketing, but for her to make more money and free herself up we are using more
Prewritten information these days.
I agree with Gar……….
social media is just more gossip than anything
Referrals and quick response to leads – do lots of repeat/referral business – agree with GAR
I agree with Gar. I’ve paid a lot the past few years for leads etc.. and nothing worked or paid for itself. What works best for me is doing the old time real estate. Sitting at the computer does not pay the bills.
Referrals are still the best source of business for me. Was (and still am) a Zillow Premier Agent, but in the last year most of leads I’ve received have failed to convert.
I couldn’t resist commenting. Very well written!
Great post.
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing
to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I
learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such magnificent info being shared freely out there.
