If you're an agent or broker, you know you're busier than ever in November. Maybe you've got an appreciation event to plan, or you're coordinating drop-offs for the holidays. Maybe you're headed to NAR, or cleaning up your database and filling your pipeline—all in addition to clients you have to find homes for, and listings you have to sell. (They do happen at this time of year!)
For us at RISMedia, November is for Power Brokers—the brokers who've earned a place in our Power Broker Report, now in its 30th year. On November 2, we'll be hosting our annual Power Broker Forum at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo in Boston, and, later, the Power Broker Reception & Dinner, to honor their incredible successes.

Compete Like a Power Broker
We've asked a diverse, dynamic group of Power Brokers to share strategies at this year's Power Broker Forum, "Compete—and Win—in a Changing Real Estate World," at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo. Don't be intimidated by the name—the forum is open to all attendees of the conference, and our lively panel's real-world takeaways can be applied to businesses large and small. Join us at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from 1:30-2:30 p.m. for this can't-miss session!
'The George Washington of ESPN'
Are you embracing, or fighting, innovation? At this year's Power Broker Dinner, attendees will hear from ESPN Founder Bill Rasmussen—a disruptor, in every sense, whose brainchild was not only the first 24-hour network, but also the first focused solely on sports. Rasmussen changed the game—literally!—and, through his journey, attendees will gain insights into navigating their own obstacles as practitioners of real estate. (Note: The Power Broker Reception & Dinner is by invitation only.)
Shining the Spotlight
In addition to Rasmussen's keynote, we'll be awarding four groundbreakers in the industry. The awards—Homeownership, presented by Quicken Loans; "On the Shoulders of Giants," presented by RE/MAX; Real Estate Leadership, presented by Buffini & Company; and Tech Titan, presented by Homes.com—are given to individuals who champion homeownership; contribute to the industry, but are often unrecognized; are at the forefront of innovation; and effectively and efficiently integrate technology. Kudos to this year's winners!
What It's All About
From an invaluable panel session to an evening featuring a legend in sports and television, this November, we're celebrating Power Brokers—brokers who not only have Power Broker status, but also are advocates, leaders and visionaries. This one's for you!
