As a brand bonded to community from the start—founded in 1973 in Denver, where it is headquartered, still, today—RE/MAX has impacted the lives of many through its philanthropy. This summer, the brand gave back in a (decidedly) smaller way: auctioning a tiny home.
At approximately eight-and-a-half-feet wide and 24-feet long, the 1.5-story Tiny Home for Tiny Tots has all of the makings of a miniature shelter. Built and designed with the help of Henry Ford College, the essentials are packed in strategically and stylishly, with amenities including bamboo flooring, a butcher block countertop and a farmhouse fireclay sink.
The auction benefitted Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, which care for more than 10 million children across 170 hospitals. The brand and CMN Hospitals have had a decades-long partnership, with the company's contributions directly invested in the neighborhoods it serves.
Additional features of the home include:
- Air conditioning
- Cedar and pine siding
- Four-burner gas range and stove
- Glass-enclosed shower
- Metal roof
- Lofted sleeping space
- Washer/dryer
The auction ended on July 28. RE/MAX will deliver the home and its trailer to the winner.
