The property that was featured prominently in the 1991 thriller Silence of the Lambs has been listed for sale just in time for Halloween! Listed by Eileen Allan and Shannon Assad of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty, the three-story Queen Anne Victorian is currently on the market for $298,500.

Sitting on 1.76 acres along the Youghiogheny River in Perryopolis, Pa., the home, which was built in 1910, comes with all original hardwood floors, woodwork, pocket doors and fireplaces. However, perhaps the most impressive aspect of the property is the heavy screen time it received in Silence of the Lambs.

The iconic house was the residence of serial killer Buffalo Bill in the Academy Award-winning film and some of the tensest scenes were shot inside the home. There are also some exterior shots featured in the film, which could lead to some serious bragging rights should you choose to purchase this home.

Situated about 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, the 4-bedroom, 1-bathroom home is in a much quieter, rural area. Recent additions to the property include: reflooring of the wrap around porch and gazebo, a rose bed garden, a fountain, refinished hardwood floors in the attic, as well as a hot water tank, well pump and UV filter.
