Ever wonder what it would be like to live the life of a Manhattan mogul or city-dwelling celeb? Well, guests at RISMedia’s Real Estate CEO Exchange will get to experience that lifestyle first hand—at least for an hour or two!—during the event’s unique closing event, “The Ultimate Power Broker Open House Experience.”
Sponsored by Halstead Property, a member of Luxury Portfolio International®, the Power Broker Open House will transport CEO Exchange attendees to a luxe reception held at one of Halstead’s most desirable listings at Jade Condominium, in the historic Flatiron District of Manhattan. The event will close out the day-and-a-half-long CEO Exchange, taking place on Sept. 16 and 17. This invitation-only exclusive event is now sold out.
To kick off the Power Broker Open House Thursday afternoon, Halstead Property CEO Diane Ramirez will make remarks at 2:45 p.m. at the Yale Club, the venue for RISMedia’s CEO Exchange. Transportation to and from the Open House will be provided for registered attendees, leaving at 3 p.m. from the nearby Roosevelt Hotel and returning back to the hotel at 5:30 p.m.
The Jade Condominium property is co-listed for $12,995,000 by Halstead agent Amy Herman and real-estate celebrity Ryan Serhant of Nest Seekers, one of the stars of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York. Guests should also get ready for their close-up as Bravo intends to film the Power Broker Open House at Jade for an upcoming episode.
Located in the heart of Manhattan's Flatiron district, where Chelsea, Gramercy and Union Square convene, Jade Condominium is a 14-story residential building, which originally opened in 2006 with 57 pre-war condo apartments. The building was named after Jade Jagger—the only child of Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones and his former wife Bianca Jagger—who serves as the lifestyle inspiration for the condominium’s design. This is the first residential project for jewelry designer Jade Jagger.
The Power Broker Open House will take place in the Jade condo’s 3,894-sq.-ft. penthouse duplex, which features four bedrooms (including a solarium), four-and-a-half bathrooms, an extra-large, loft-style living room, and an open-plan dining room, all housed under 15-ft. ceilings. The residence offers dramatic views of both the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower, thanks to its northern, eastern, and southern exposures.
There are luxurious details galore throughout the duplex, such as a ventless fireplace, a floating oak staircase, walnut ash-colored wood floors, custom doors imported from Italy, custom automated lighting, central heating and air conditioning, electric shades and sheer window treatments, and a Bosch washer/dryer.
The open chef’s kitchen by Poliform, dubbed the “Matrix,” combines high design with a sense of practicality, which makes it a welcome gathering place for family. State-of-the-art Miele appliances include a full hood range, second oven, a micro speed oven, coffee and cappuccino maker, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and wine refrigerator.
Luxury continues into the master bathroom, highlighted by Nella Vetrina’s “The Egg” bathtub and luxury vanities, handcrafted in Italian glass. All of the bathrooms are by Vetrina, designed with slick tiles and marble. The master bedroom incorporates a state-of-the-art, walk-in closet by Poliform, with no doors, sides or vertical divisions. This futuristic, linear look is achieved through the use of suspended, cantilevered elements supported by wall panels.
The upstairs solarium features stunning views of the Empire State building, limestone floors, a custom entertaining bar complete with a custom refrigerator and its own full bathroom. The serene and bright private rooftop garden faces north, has occasional seating, lounges and dining space, and doubles as a private spa-style escape from the bustle of Manhattan below.
