Sixty-one percent of brokers surveyed enlist outside coaching for agents and almost the same amount (60 percent) believe that hiring these coaches yields a tangible ROI, according to RISMedia's 2015 Outside Coaching Survey.
Not only does outside coaching help offer fresh perspectives for agents and brokers, but oftentimes, coaching can be a powerful vehicle toward better overall business, increasing net profits, and enhancing an agent's quality of life and happiness at work.
In the survey, brokers from around the country weighed in on their opinions about external coaching, why it works, what formats they prefer, and much more. View it below:

In the research for this article, did you also analyze which coaches and/or coaching programs seem to produce results the most reliably? I’d love to see that sort of information; i.e., how many folks they coach, for how long, relative costs, and the resulting ROI.
In this particular survey, we didn’t, Gabrielle, but those are great ideas for future surveys and stories – so thank you!
We do cover coaching extensively on our main website. You can take a look here if you’re looking for more on the subject: http://rismedia.com/?s=coaching&sentence=1

If 61% of brokers enlist outside coaching, but 68% do not subsidize outside coaching, does that mean the majority of the enlisting brokers are using it for themselves? Also if 63% believe that it increases production why not subsidize the coaching?
