Real estate business continues! Although the industry landscape has changed dramatically and the way most agents and brokers conduct theirs has been altered dramatically, closings are still happening across the country. One such property is this East Coast gem that recently sold for $17.1 million—the highest Connecticut home sale price of 2020 so far.

This waterfront estate—originally listed for $21 million—is part of the Belle Haven Association in Greenwich, Conn. and has panoramic views of the Long Island Sound. Sitting atop 3.96 acres of property, the Georgian Colonial was built in 1915 and has four levels of living space.

Renovated in 2014, the home has decidedly grand features, not the least of which is its dramatic elevated setting overlooking the shoreline. The interior of the property extends 10,000-square-feet, including high ceilings, period-accurate architectural detailing and vast formal rooms.

Other features include: covered verandas and terraces stretching the first and second floors on the south side of the property, expansive lawns that lead to a massive swimming pool, a flower garden and a contoured golf practice green with bunkers.
