The swankiest of swanky pads hit the market recently, setting a new record high for the most expensive U.S. listing, according to the listing company. At an astounding $195 million, this palatial private gated compound—set in Beverly Hills, of course—features 25 acres with views of the iconic Los Angeles canyons and dazzling city lights.
What's a fancy estate without a fancy name? Dubbed Palazzo di Amore, this Mediterranean villa includes its own vineyard, a 50-seat private screening room, a bowling alley and a monstrous dining hall that can seat up to 250 guests, perfect for that bat mitzvah or Granny's annual blinged out bingo-thon.
What else can the Palazzo di Amore (that's Palace of Love, folks) offer? Oh, just an entertainment center larger than most apartment buildings. The mansion's 15,000 square foot entertainment center includes a disco/ballroom with a revolving turntable-style dance floor, a DJ booth and a laser-light system.
The property also hosts a wine cellar on the main floor capable of holding 3,000 bottles, as well as a tasting room where you can sit and sip on the estate’s private label, Beverly Hills Vineyards. Satisfying even the most demanding of vinos, the vineyard produces 400-500 cases per year. Not too shabby.
